Something must have changed! After years of being a customer one of their mechanics tried to pull some shady stuff on me. Waited over an hour to be told they would need to remove a bumper to replace a bulb. Wasn't even close to being true - although that procedure would have cost me a couple hours of labor. After, I caught the bold faced lie - they then said only the wheel well cover would need to be removed - That's 4 bolts... By that time I was done... Will never return again!

I have taken 4 of my cars there over several years. Each repair was done to my complete satisfaction. Their customer service is the best. One time when my battery ran down, they came out and jumped me and didn't even charge.

I took my car in for new tires and alignment - 3D did a thorough inspection of my car and found some safety issues that needed repair. The staff was great - they repaired and replaced my tires in one day - my car has never drove better than it has since they did the work. For all the repairs that they did to my car, I thought they were very reasonable in price. I highly recommend 3D Car Care.

I took my Caliber in today for a simple tire repair. They took two and a half hours to get the job done. About an hour in I called and inquired after the progress. They started talking about the TPMS sensor and I told them to put a regular valve in its place if it was a problem. They had the audacity to argue with me until I told them that the other tires already had regular valves instead of TPMS sensors. (The sensors break just by taking the cap off and cost $150 to replace. I know what I'm talking about when I say having a warning light on is better than depending on these stupid things.) When it was finished the clerk had the nerve to say the following to me: "It's such a shame. That car needs a lot of front end work and 3 new tires. And its such an expensive car and doesn't have that many miles on it." 1, the car was a gift from my inlaws. We didn't pay anything for it. 2. The economy sucks and so do our jobs. Excuse me if our daughter's pediatrician bill has to get paid before getting the alignment done. It is comments like these that make my wife shy away from repair shops in the first place. They would do well to tell their associates to treat the customer with a little more dignity and respect regardless of the condition that the vehicle is in. Once I am out of the building then you can gossip about my car all you want to the other mechanics. But don't condescend to my face. It is just unprofessional.

Excellent service, speed, and price! I went in to replace a water pump today. Not only did they gave me the best price, they asked if I am a student and gave me a student discount on top of the good price! Their service was thorough and fast. The McDonald on the side is also a great place to wait for your car to finish the service.

The day after I sent an email and posted my Yelp review. I got a call from the owner telling me that they would fix my headlight for free and that he was out sick that day and didn't understand what had happened.He said he doesn't do business that way and once again repeated his offer.I told him his staff did in fact do business like that the day he was gone.I refused the service and told him I won't be back. He called me 5 additional times.This morning I get an email including a link to a story about something in my background many years ago with the statement "mistakes are made - I guess we both know that".I replied stating the email was insulting and use of such material in an email is no concern to me.I get another email shortly thereafter, in which he states he has spoken to his attorney and that he has "PERFECT GROUNDS" for "defamation and libel".I replied suggesting that his counsel's advice doesn't sound like someone who has a firm grasp of the 2nd amendment and might want to google it and I am in full support of him seeking protection and redress from the legal system.What does any of this really mean? I have no idea.But, it does seem to me that when a complaint is made to this business and the owner can't convince the person who is complaining to settle his issue - the owner's next step (in this case anyway) is to make a personal insult towards the person making the complaint and if that isn't successful, it seems he tries to bully and intimidate with implied threats of legal action.This is what has happened in my case anyway.I didn't loose anything but time though this ordeal and that can't be replaced.But, the aspect of what has transpired after has confirmed my decision not to return to this business.

Very pleased with the level of HONEST and excellent service received. Took my car in for a new wheel bearing as I was constantly warned to change by my previous mechanic, and didn't even wind up needing it! It's hard to find trust worthy mechanics these days. I HIGHLY recommend this repair shop. And I get free tire rotation with oil changes since I bought my tires there. Good Deal!

I needed a pair of tires and I was skeptical when I saw all the 5 star reviews, assuming that 3D must have had all their friends talk them up. Well, I went there and LOVED everything about the experience. They were super pleasant, really fast at an awesome price. And their waiting room even has a big conference table in addition to comfortable seating around a tv. I'd give this place 6 stars if I could :D

Well the works not bad. The labor prices aren't bad or good. 90$ an hour is ehh kind of standard around here when the gentleman inside was telling me he's the only one around with that price (a guy down the block from me charges 76...). I had some suspension work done they fixed it all up nicely. The manager Christina is really nice and sweet. The only thing I found funny was I did buy the front pieces used, but still working properly, the mechanic told me i needed new new ones. Thanks...the thing is though he did say he had never ridin in the car before. I tried to explain that it was from a sports model but eh they just said they're bouncey. Bouncey because the parts are from a sports sedan!

We used to take our car here all the time when my husband was a student at National University of Health Sciences right next door.  Everyone was so helpful and the prices were very fair.  Nothing but good experiences here, too bad we live rather far away now.

Brought my Infiniti to get a timing chain replaced. Super nice and gave us a great deal, more than half off of what dealer estimated. No on else would take the job but they did here. Had an issue with car next day and they fixed it, hassle free. Going back.

Quality and integrity are shown when superb ethical care is provided when it's forced, not carefully shopped and researched. An infamous Illinois pothole punctured a tire during a downpour, and with the tire rapidly deflating I pulled into 3D by necessity and chance of proximity. The technicians courteously got me right in, found and demonstrated the problem, and demonstrated it couldn't be repaired. Wally, the salesman, and Christina, the manager, arranged to get a replacement the next day. During that time, the spare was being installed, and I was able to make it to my grand daughters dance recital! Later, I perused the product, and had received a fair competitive price. However, in addition to equitable pricing, the fact that I was treated as a longtime valued customer when I had limped in of necessity, vulnerable to retail abuse, speaks volumes about the values and ethics of this company. I recommend it without equivocation.

I just left this place after having a terrible experience. I walked in asking for my car to be looked at as it keeps on not starting and I asked for a diagnosis. The person behind the counter (I'm assuming is the manager), took my information and my keys, I asked how long before I get a diagnosis and he said "within the hour". I thought that was a long time to tell me what's wrong, and maybe I misunderstood. So I went back and I asked again how long to would take to get a diagnosis as I have to let work know. He snapped at me and said "I don't have a magic wand. I wish I did, and I can just use it to diagnose your car and fix it for you instantly. But I don't. Until I do, you have to wait" I was shocked as he as practically yelling at me, I said I'm not asking for a magic wand, just a rough estimate to know what I should tell work as they're waiting for me to call back. He said "fine! 20 mins! But I can't guarantee it" I said I'm not asking for a guarantee and won't hold you for it, I'm only asking based on your experience, since I've never done this before.. He just said "ok then!" and I walked away. I could hear him talking so nicely to the next customer. There was a customer waiting there and I looked at her and she said "I'm sorry, I have no idea why he's behaving this way. I've never seen them treat customers this way before".I waited in the waiting area and he came back after 20 minutes saying that I need a new battery and a new alternator and that it would cost $599. I asked for a break down for the $599 and he was annoyed but showed me the break down. I said "ok, I have to think about it" and before I could even finish my sentence he walked away from me and said with his back to me "you can get your keys outside". I was floored and so was the customer sitting there! He didn't even give me the paper with the estimate. I called him back and said "excuse me, but do you have a problem with me?" He said "Listen, you asked for an estimate. I gave it to you in the time line I promised you. I'm not even charging you for the estimate and I'm not forcing you to do business with us. So I don't see the problem. I'm sorry if you felt I was a little rushed, but as you can see, I have other customers". All with a very pissed off attitude. I said "I don't think you were rushed, I think you were rude. There's a difference".. He just said "well, I'm sorry you feel this way. Have a good day" And turned around. No other customers were waiting to be served at the time. I was shocked and said "wow, I've never seen such poor customer service". He didn't seem to care. He left me standing in the hallway talking to myself and walked away. The fact that I'm a Muslim that wears the headscarf, and that he was so nice to other customers in front me, leads me to think the worst. I was very polite with him from the beginning and he was nothing but rude. Not only am I never going back, but I will be telling everyone I know to not come back. I went there based on the recommendation of my neighbor. I will make sure they all know about how I was treated.

I have been using 3D for years and have always been quite pleased. They do great work, are honest and have always charged me a fair price. I had an oil change at a competitor once and they told me I needed my cabin filter replaced for $100.00. Since I had never heard of a cabin filter before I declined. When I took the car to 3D later and asked how much for a cabin filter installation they told me $35. When they went to install it they determined my car did not have a cabin air filter

My friend had his Fiat 500 die due to a bad battery late Sunday night.  He had to leave it in a Walgreen's parking lot overnight. 3D Complete Car Care was located across the street & early the following morning they provided a jump for the car to get it to their location.  A new battery was installed immediately (it was a busy Monday & the battery price was very good).  We left but quickly noticed the radio & a/c were not working in the Fiat.  We returned to 3D Complete Car Care & a service technician spent quite some time troubleshooting the issue.  It was determined that the battery surge during the jump probably damaged the fuse so they replaced the fuse at no charge.  Our experience at 3D Complete Car Care was very good & we found them to be honest, fair & helpful.

Horrible Customer Service. Took 3 days just to reach a diagnosis and when I asked why, I got a sarcastic reply "you certainly never had an electric problem with your car before... it takes time" and once they did figure it out, I get a call telling me they need to change some parts and when I asked about why it costs that much, the first reply I got was "Sir, we're here to fix cars. If you don't like it we can push your car out and you can get it towed." The attitude is horrible. I asked them to leave the car and I'll take my business somewhere else, so they wanted to charge me a daily parking fee !!!! Not sure how good they are in fixing cars, but I'm positive you can get it cheaper, cleaner, quicker and certainly with a lot better attitude from many of the other shops on Roosevelt. Do yourself a favor and don't take your car there.

A few wks ago I called early one morning and spoke with Drew twice and he was very calming, straightforward and informative.  I was trying to buy a used Dodge Grand Caravan minivan off of Craigslist from a guy just a few miles away from them and Drew explained how they cannot meet up with me at the seller's location, but if the seller or I can bring the car to their shop they can do a thorough inspection of it for me for a reasonable set price in 1hr time total.  It turns out that the seller was shifty and found a different buyer, but it was a good plan and I really appreciate Drew explaining and being patient with me.

I came into 3D a few weeks ago on a recommendation from my "mobile mechanic".  I needed a wheel bearing for my Kia and my mechanic sent me here since it was some work he doesn't do.  He told me their prices were good and it  wouldn't take long.  I called them ASAP and spoke with Mike.  I was surprised they were able to take me in on a Saturday at noon but he did warn me that, even though the actual work would only be a little over an hour or so, I would have to leave my car since they were busy but I would have the car by 3:30.  They close at 3 but were willing to wait for me to pick up my car.  The area has plenty of places to eat (many in walking distance) if you have to stick around and wait.  They also have wifi (just ask for the password) and a vending machine.  I decided to head home, since it wasn't far.  Mike called around 3pm and told me the car was ready.  All was well for a few days and then my car started making the same horrible sound it made before the repair.  I called 3D the moment they opened the next day and explained the issue.  Mike told me to bring it in Saturday (try on the earlier side) and they will look at it.  Well I didn't get there as early as I would have hoped but I still made it by 11am.  They took it in right away and Alex informed me that it was a bad part and will be replaced under warranty for no charge.  This time I had no choice and waited for my car.  I made use of the wifi and the vending machine.  Within 2 hours, I was done and on my way home.    3D was great.  Mike and Alex were an excellent to me.  Since the problem was a safety issue, I wanted it fixed ASAP and they understood that.  Great prices and great customer service.

i never had a honest shop before i found these guys.they always  told me what i do not need.this is one example-bought a 78 chevy van while back.took in in for a tune up and they told me that a tune-up was not needed.they adjusted the carb only.i drove it now for 2 summers and it still runs very smooth.i also had professional work done there on my 66 chevy p/u.i stick with these guys as long as i am in the area

They did a good job repairing, but over charged. $40 for a bolt?!  Unfortunately, this seems to be the norm form auto repair shops.
